Guidelines for Student Book Review Submissions
The Student to Student feature of Voices from the Middle, the National Council of Teachers of English journal for middle school teachers, enables students to publish book reviews.
Reviews should be no more than 200 words (including bibliographic information, your name, city, etc....see examples below for format), the student’s grade and our school, Wildwood Elementary, must be identified. You must e-mail your submission to Chris @ [email protected]. Reviews submitted as paper copies will not be sent to the journal for possible publication.
You can offer a review at any time this year and Chris will submit it for publication. However, for this cycle of extra credit, we will take submissions through November 30th.
Please see below for examples of published reviews. Chris has lots more reviews if anyone is interested in viewing more samples. Happy writing!!
